In a recent evaluation, a third-party research group developed a comprehensive logic model to analyze the structure and effectiveness of Really Great Reading’s instructional programs. A logic model serves as a strategic framework, outlining participant engagement, program activities, outputs, and anticipated outcomes, thereby providing a road map for program implementation. This study examined how RGR’s methods support teacher knowledge, instructional practices, and student literacy outcomes, aligning with ESSA Evidence Level IV standards.
The study established a solid rationale for RGR’s approach through a carefully constructed logic model informed by prior high-quality research. This model effectively underscores the evidence-based design and anticipated impact of Really Great Reading’s instructional programs on literacy development.
